Family of Resources
The Family of Resources is an evergreen suite of resources curated by the Canadian Centre for Recovery and Resilience, offering practical tools, in-depth topical guidance, case studies, examples, templates, training materials, and other resources to support communities in detailed aspects of pre- and post-disaster recovery planning.
Recovery from disasters is complex and context-specific. To support practitioners, policymakers, and communities, the Canadian Centre for Recovery and Resilience has curated a family of resources that highlights diverse approaches, tools, and frameworks from across Canada and around the world for key topics and challenges in recovery.
This repository includes practical tools, detailed topic guides, case studies, examples, training materials, and other helpful resources to support communities with specific parts of pre- and post-disaster recovery planning. The materials are grouped by important recovery themes and highlight key areas of disaster recovery. Each resource was chosen for being clear, relevant, and useful in different recovery situations. We encourage you to explore them thoughtfully and creatively, thinking about how they might inform or inspire your own recovery experience.
